Founded by designer Carla Renee Westerbeck, the brand is celebrated for its couture wedding gowns, bespoke lingerie, resort wear, and one-of-a-kind handbags. Each creation reflects an intimate blend of artistry, grace, and timeless craftsmanship. The Designer With more than two decades of experience in couture design, Carla Renee brings refined sophistication to every gown she creates. From her light-filled studio in Rancho Cordova, California, she designs for brides who value exceptional fit, heirloom-quality detail, and effortless beauty. Carla’s passion for fashion began at just ten years old, when she discovered the magic of fabric and form. She later trained at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) in San Francisco, graduating in 2003. Her early experience at Miosa Couture in Sacramento refined her mastery of couture techniques, precision tailoring, and timeless design. A Legacy of Craftsmanship In 2004, Carla launched her namesake label, Carla Renee, earning recognition in leading bridal publications such as The Knot and Sacramento Bride & Groom. Her work is known for its clean lines, romantic restraint, and dedication to handcrafted excellence. From 2011 to 2014, Carla shared her expertise as a faculty member at Monterey Peninsula College, teaching courses in patternmaking, sewing, and design — nurturing the next generation of fashion talent.
