Meet Carla Renee Westerbeck, the creative force behind this divine luxury brand, celebrated for its enchanting wedding gowns, lingerie, honeymoon and resort wear, bespoke patterns, and artisanal handbags.

With over two decades of crafting couture magic, Carla Renee embodies refined sophistication. From her bright studio in Rancho Cordova, CA, Carla designs fashion that captivates brides and fashion enthusiasts worldwide.

Carla's journey as a creator began at the age of 10, where her love for fabrics and the arts blossomed. Fueled by an insatiable passion for design, she refined her craft at The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in San Francisco, graduating in 2003. Following her formal education, Carla embarked on a transformative journey, further refining her skills as a seamstress, pattern-maker, and assistant designer at esteemed establishments such as Miosa Couture in Sacramento, CA.

In 2004, Carla launched her eponymous brand, Carla Renee, which has since graced the pages of prestigious bridal magazines such as "The Knot" and "Sacramento Bride and Groom," earning accolades for her unparalleled artistry and attention to detail.

Beyond her illustrious career in design, Carla's commitment to education and mentorship shines brightly. From 2011-2014, as a faculty member at Monterey Peninsula College in Monterey, CA, Carla shared her wisdom with aspiring designers, nurturing the next generation of talent, and teaching over a dozen patternmaking, sewing, and fashion-related courses for their degree program. Beyond the classroom, Carla continued to fulfill her design fantasies with a new line of sewing patterns and custom wedding gowns, as well as with wedding gown alterations and restyling.
